Girl Talk: My First Interview

Hey yal! My good friend Lakeyia was in town and stayed with me for two days! We had an amazing time. It has been years since we saw each other and it is as if we picked up where we left off. (I do miss her though.) Having her here was truly a blessing and part of me wishes she would move to Cali!!! Anyway, prior to her visit, she told me she wanted to interview me (insert blushing and thankfulness). She recently launched a YouTube Channel to encourage, inspire, and motivate people to be all God called them to be. (Follow her on IG @alifeofjoy29 and on YouTube.) To give a little back story, Lakeyia and I have known each other for 11 years. When we did the math, I did not realize it had been so long!!! (I mean that in the BEST WAY!) We originally met at small group at Christ Church in Montclair, NJ. We had an instant connection! After the meeting ended, we spent hours in my car talking about God. We became quick friends. Months later, she told me she would be moving to Florida and I was so SAD!!!! How could she just up and leave me like that. Fast foward to now, I am thankful for this woman of God. She has supported me with this blog since its inception and that means more than words can express. Having the support and encouragement of a friend is a priceless gift and I certainly do not take it for granted.
